Customer guidelines
What we would like you to know prior to your appointment, please read the guidelines below:
All our therapists are fully trained and qualified.
We provide a text reminder service to remind you of your appointment. This service should not be relied on and it is up to the client to remember their appointments and if missed the client will be charged the cancellation fee.
All new clients will have an initial confidential consultation.
Clients are respectfully requested to ensure that mobile phones are switched off before arrival at the salon.
Please bring open toed sandals when receiving a pedicure Clients must inform the salon if they are have any health disorders, pregnant or breast feeding.
Please carefully adhere to the aftercare advise you have been given.
The salon will not be responsible for any injury or damage occurring as a result of failing to follow the advice given.
For Eyelash/Eyebrow tinting, Eyelash Extensions a patch test must be carried out at least 24hrs hours before treatment when it is your first treatment at First Impressions.
No other persons except the person being treated are permitted into the treatment room.
Clients are kindly requested to arrive at the scheduled appointment on time. Clients arriving late will have their appointment reduced to remaining time and the full appointment charge will be payable.
Treatment charges and gift vouchers
The client agrees to pay the charges set out and to comply with all respects of salon procedure and terms & conditions.
The salon reserves the right to increase treatment charges at any time.
All treatments must be paid in full at the end of each salon appointment. Credit will not be given in any circumstances.
All treatment charges include VAT at the relevant rate.
Courses of treatments purchased in advance are valid for 12 months from date of first appointment, once purchased courses of treatments are non-refundable, whether all treatments are redeemed or not
. Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice provided will be charged 50% of the appointment fee.
General information
The salon reserves the right to remove clients who are abusive to members of staff and/or clients.
The salon will not be liable for any loss or damage caused or contributed to by the negligence of or breach of the terms and conditions by a client.
The salon does not accept any liability for damage or loss of personal effects belonging to clients during or following a treatment.
All complaints must be submitted in writing detailing the nature of the complaint within one month of the treatment.
All information received from a client is treated in strict confidence.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Scottish Law
